E-paper display voltage test Q&A-01

During the project development process of using the electronic paper display, the customer will design the driving circuit of the project according

to the specification and the professional guidance of the engineer, and then refer to the voltage value in the specification to check whether it meets

the specification one by one. For electronic paper displays, we generally need to care about the voltage values of the two points VGL and VGH, which range from -20 to +20V.

So if the customer measures the driver board designed by himself and finds that the voltage is around -21V, should it be considered normal?

Answer: For example, GDEY0213B74 is a 2.13 black and white monochrome e-paper, the range given in the specification is indeed -20 to +20V, and the situation

around 21V is probably related to components. As long as the deviation is not particularly large, you can use it with confidence.
Note: Please use the multimeter to measure the average voltage value to compare with the reference range given in the specification,

and the oscilloscope measurement deviation will be larger.
