AV Display focuses on LCD and touch products, the main products include monochrome LCD, monochrome LCD module, color LCD module and capacitive touch screen, etc., used in industrial control and automation, Internet of Things and smart life, Healthcare, automotive electronics and many other fields. At present, it has established long-term and stable cooperative relations with well-known enterprises such as Omron, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, GE, Schneider, BYD and so on.

Benefiting from the strong overseas demand, the operating income in the first half of this year maintained steady growth. In the first half of the year, the company achieved an operating income of about 566 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.66%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company was about 73.64 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 100.21%.

Regarding the performance growth in the first half of the year, Wang Yabin, secretary of the board of directors, "The company's performance growth mainly includes several aspects, including an increase in export revenue, and exchange rate fluctuations benefit the company."

Entering the e-paper market

Wang Yabin said that the company's research project electronic paper focuses on the research and development of small and medium-sized products. Through cooperation with colleges and universities, it has completed the research and development of key optoelectronic materials. At present, it has achieved from pigment particle modification, electrophoresis liquid compounding, capsule synthesis, membrane coating. Independent research and development of the entire chain to electronic paper module processing.

In the first half of 2022, global electronic paper module shipments reached 120 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 25%; it is expected to show explosive growth in the second half of the year, with annual shipments exceeding 400 million pieces, a year-on-year increase of 92.7%, nearly doubling . The global electronic paper market will also increase from 11.3 billion yuan in 2021 to 70 billion yuan in 2025, maintaining a rapid growth trend.

Wang Yabin said, "The electronic paper market is indeed very hot, but the company's related products are still in the sample testing stage. Due to the uncertainty of research and development, it is difficult to guarantee whether it can generate income in the future. At this stage, the company still focuses on touch and display modules. The main business is also our key research project.”
